Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the website. New pages are tested with a screen reader and keyboard-only navigation before publishing.

All interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields, the booking accordion, the mobile drawer) are keyboard-accessible with visible focus rings.

Form labels are properly associated with their inputs. Required fields are visually marked and announced to screen readers as required.

Body text contrast exceeds WCAG AA (4.5:1) across the site. Large text and UI control contrast exceeds 3:1.

Images carry descriptive alt text or are marked as decorative.

Some placeholder content (doctor portraits, clinic photo) currently uses generic SVG illustrations — these will be replaced with real photos that carry the same alt-text discipline.

The booking form's date picker uses the native browser control. Accessibility varies slightly across browsers and operating systems. If the date picker isn't usable on your device, call us on 020 7244 8885 and we'll book on your behalf.

GHMS is on the ground floor with a single 2 cm threshold at the entrance. We have step-free access to all consultation rooms and an accessible toilet.

We don't currently have a permanent hearing loop installed — call ahead and we'll arrange a quieter consultation room and brief the reception team.

Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome.
