Dr. Raja Coumine

Dr Raja Coumine qualified as a Doctor of Medicine from Damascus University Medical School in 1973 and completed surgical specialty training in the UK between 1974 and 1988.

Since 1990, he has worked as a specialist in orthopaedics across National Health hospitals in the UK. From 1994 to 2020, he served as an Associate Specialist in Orthopaedics at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, Surrey, where his duties included outpatient consultations and surgical sessions.

His main practice areas include trauma surgery, hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and paediatric orthopaedics, including children's orthopaedic care. He also led the infant hip dysplasia clinic. His experience in orthopaedic surgery and trauma has been gained predominantly in UK hospitals.
