Service
Medical Certificates
Sick notes, fit-to-work, fit-to-fly, and other doctor-supported certificates.
About this service
GHMS provides private medical certificates when the doctor's assessment and available information support the statement being made. Common requests include sick notes, fit-to-work certificates, fit-to-fly letters, and other doctor-supported certificates.
A certificate is usually shorter than a medical report and confirms a specific point, such as fitness for work, illness absence, travel fitness, or another practical requirement. Depending on the request, the doctor may need a consultation, examination, medical records, or test results.
Certificates are prepared on clinic letterhead and signed by a GMC-registered doctor. The receiving organisation decides its own wording, evidence, and acceptance requirements, so patients should share those requirements with reception before booking.
